CMA Music Fest is a time for country artists and fans to come together to celebrate what we all love: music. This year, Miranda Lambert celebrated music by covering the 1970 Little Feat hit, “Willin’.”
Clad in a metallic silver skirt and armed with her pink guitar, Lambert gave a performance of the the track that is comparable to the original.
“And I been from Tuscon to Tucumcari / Tehachapi to Tonapah / Driven every kind of rig that’s ever been made / Driven the back roads / So I wouldn’t get weighed / And if you give me weed, whites, and wine / And then you show me a sign / I’ll be willin’ to be movin’,” Lambert serenaded the crowd.
Linda Ronstadt also used to cover the song in her live shows in the ’70s, and included it on her Heart Like a Wheel album.
