Actor Kiefer Sutherland (24, Stand by Me, Lost Boys) is taking a break from the big screen to scratch a country music itch, and has now released the first taste of his upcoming Down in a Hole album.

In a gorgeous new video for “Not Enough Whiskey,” the Hollywood A-lister puts the skills he’s honed at his day job to good use, playing a lovesick loner in an unnamed desert town. Filmed in one continuous shot, the video shows Kiefer beginning his day in a dingy motel with a slug of something strong, shuffling through a dusty parking lot and making his way into an empty roadhouse for another solitary drink. “
