DNA Pet of the Week: Mandalay

Mandalay is a 9-month-old terrier/lab mix who has been at The Humane Society since late August. They transferred him to their facility from Memphis Animal Services because he had a severe burn injury on his back. Mandalay went on an outing to a festival and did great with meeting lots of new people and socializing with other dogs. He is generally mild-mannered and calm once he gets his energy out. If he’s with a dog who’s an attention hog, he’ll let them take all the attention and wait patiently for his turn.

As a black dog, he is included in the black animal adoption special–all black dogs and cats will have a reduced adoption fee (50% off) during the month of November!

Visit the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County for more info on the adoption process. All dogs and cats available for adoption are healthy to the best of our knowledge and have been treated for all injuries and/or conditions with which they came to the Humane Society. They are all spayed/neutered, current on shots (including rabies, if old enough), heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention treatment, and have been micro-chipped. Once adopted, any subsequent veterinary charges will be the responsibility of the owner. Click here to see more cats and dogs available for adoption right now!
